Rolling Stock Table Of Contents
- This is one of the ore cars built in 1925 for use at the Chazy Marble & Lime Co. (Note how the ends sloped in, as the length of the body was shorter than the underframe.) Forty of these were purchased by the D&H in 1935 for carrying iron and sintered ore between Lyon Mt. and Standish. In 1940, they were sold to the Lake Champlain & Moriah, for use on-line between Mineville and Port Henry, where they survived until the '70's at least.
