- Hudson Valley Community College started in the former Earl
& Wilson's Collar Factory. I think the E&W factory was
originally built in 1876. In its glory days, it had a giant
open-frame sign on the roof and an ornate tower.
- [D&H no. 390, in Troy, unknown date. In the background is Earl & Wilson - note the sign and tower.]

- [Photo c. 1960's, courtesy RCHS. I think the school got started in 1953 as Hudson Valley Technical Institute (note the signage in this photo). At some point they became HVCC and then moved to an entirely new campus in south Troy.]
- [Jack Waite photo, c. 1960, showing the D&H ore train returning from South Troy through the site of the depot.]
- Our layout ends at 7th Avenue, just east of the Troy Laundry, so
we don't have room if we want an aisle here to model this large structure.
