Dutch Reformed Church
- Contemporary views show the steeple of the fourth church better, which
was the Dutch Reformed Church. It faced on Mohawk Street with its
back on Canvass, with Pine along its south side.
Like St. Bernard's, this was a Norman style building, with
all trim in brick. It showed in the 1879 bird's eye engraving of the city.
- [Front c. 1900.]
- [Similar view of the front c. June '09. (Note the two towers are NOT identical.)]
- [Trackside photo c. 2000. In the background is the Methodist Church, one block west.]
- [Photo looking west on Pine, former YWCA on the left, Dutch Reform Church on the right, United Methodist in the background. Photo c. Jan. '09.]
- [Looking northwest, June '09.]
- We modified a Kibri kit for a stand-in model.
- [Model photo. The only real change on the kit was to switch the twin steeples to the front and remove the spire roofs.]
