Layout Photo Gallery Table of Contents
- Originally I wrote this section back when there was
little finished in this section of the layout, so this
was an overall look at the scene. As progress
advances and each component is discussed in turn, not
sure if this section is useful, but here it is anyway.
- For a long time, our model was just up to the
mock-up stage. A number of the mockups were
covered with a picture of the intended
prototype. A couple of Walthers
freight house kits now have been kitbashed
as a stand-in model for the 1914 building.
A Walthers waterfront building is being
used as a typical large Cohoes mill to cover
the hole through the backdrop on the far
right, even though Star Woolen Mills didn't
have anything this high.
