The Western Maryland had channel side hoppers, similar to the USRA, but with channel members instead of hat-section ribs. (You could kitbash a USRA-type hopper into one of these, but Stewart makes a kit of these.) The B&M got some of the WM cars second-hand, while the Pittsburgh & West Virginia got them brand-new.
