Examples:
- Gliders, children's pool, beach ball, sandbox, teeter-totter, etc., from Montgomery Ward's, 1950.
- [Children's toys, etc., from Montgomery Ward's, 1950.]
- Playpens back in late steam days were made of wood, doweling and Masonite for the bottom. (Not sure of what they are made of today, but I assume plastic.) These playpens were not weatherproof, but were taken outside when it was nice outside (they folded up), so if you modeled one in a backyard, it most likely would have a toddler or two in it.
