Introduction
Nestled between the collar factories and the retail stores of downtown Troy were the worker's houses, rows and rows of traditional single-family "brownstones". The tracks ran along 6th Avenue, and the houses faced the street and thus the tracks. Therefore, on our layout, the backs of the houses faced the aisles. We have the challenge of adding interest to not one or two, but many back yards.I've been working on the back yards of Troy
