This chapter contains the blister-panel rebuilds of 30 foot 8-panel twin hoppers (whether USRA-types or GLa types), unless otherwise noted. The first offset hoppers were built c. 1926, and 7 years later (1933), the idea arose of bulging the panels on ribbed cars.
