Many of the photos in the Clark Propst Photo Album were taken by Soph Marty. (See Clark Propst's Photo Album for these.) Soph has gotten a scanner and now is sending them on directly.
- A photo of a Birmingham Southern c.
WWII War Emergency single-sheathed
box car.
- Soph Marty took a photo of an aircraft box.
- Soph Marty sent a photo of BA&P 44, a shorty wood box car with
wood ends and doors and a fishbelly side sill. The car
still has fox trucks. The photo was taken by Dick
Stemler at Butte, MT in July '58. Even in '49, these
box cars were NOT used in interchange.
- Soph Marty sent along a couple of BA&P ore cars.
- Richard Hendrickson, I believe, said this was not a real Borden reefer.
- One of the Borden "butter-dish" milk cars, as restored at a museum. (The blue stripe is WRONG(!) but now modelers are beginning to buy into this scheme as valid.)
- A B&M single-sheathed box car.
